Welcome to Coachingtag 2017!
The Coachingtag is the first public and trade conference for coaching nationwide.
As a combination of trade and further education congress, a wide audience of coaches, coaching clients, HR personnel, and businesses are provided a platform to discuss the future of further education and coaching quality.
The Coachingtag has been organised for ten years by the ICF (the International Coach Federation, the world’s largest professional organisation for coaches), which has promoted international standards for quality in professional coaching for more than twenty years. In its jubilee year, the ICF Coachingtag is opening to a broad public for the first time with a modern, future oriented concept.
The Further Education Fair MyQ complements the congress together with their partner the IHK Akademie Oberbayern, and is simultaneously an effective linkage for all the target attendee groups with for example the coaching zone.
On Friday the attendees can expect a B2B programme for coaches, consultants and HR Personnel with high level speakers from industry and academia, company representatives, podium discussions on industry political topics and a speakers’ corner.
As an international organisation, the ICF is offering a full day of talks in English with international speakers – a novelty for the industry in Germany. Speakers from USA, UK, Italy, The Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland are already expected.
On Saturday, the B2C programme for clients and those interested in further education awaits, with a fresh spontaneous campus format with punchy short talks about the latest tools and methods for personal development and career success, including live demonstrations. The call for speakers is already open – every innovative, future oriented, success recipe for career and further development is welcome!
The programme will be rounded out with an evening event on the Friday.
Greeting of the President
Dear participants, members, cooperation partners and volunteers,
as president of the International Coach Federation, Charter Chapter Germany, it gives me great pleasure to anticipate you at this our tenth anniversary of our annual Coachingtag.
The Coachingtag is run as an independent event.
The Coaching branch can no longer be imagined wiithout the annual Coachingtag. Following a decade of inspiration, future oriented keynotes and good-humoured networking, it is clear that the Coachingtag is no longer merely a members’ meeting of the ICF, but an insider tip in the coaching scene, celebrating ever growing success.
For example, in 2015 the Coachingtag in Berlin fascinated attendees with the live connection to the international ICF-on-Tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of the founding of the ICF. 2016 topped the attendee numbers with its theme “The Coach as professional business person”, which brought together high quality speaekers discussing burning issues in a modern “coaching-cafe” format.
Through the passionate volunteer engagements of its members, ICF Germany is able to go beyond the goals of the federation to establish and develop quality in coaching, and sustainably influence the German coaching community. Coaching in Germany today is unimaginable without the ICF which is in part due to the Coachingtag
2017 marks the tenth anniversary of Coachingtag – reason to celebrate. We, as the board, thought long and hard how to commemorate this occasion. Now we are ready.
We have completely reworked the presentation and content of the event, but so that it is nevertheless recognisable as that of the world’s largest coaching organisation. We’ve kept the best bits, for example the passion for the content and the engagement of our members. In parallel we have invited strong partners to join us, and Coachingtag as future regulars and to emphasise our “coaching” and “international” competences.
Our birthday child is not merely more modern and future looking, but has the necessary prerequisites to further develop and grow over the next decade – it now has both roots and wings in equal measure. That makes us proud: what else should one give one’s children for their birthday?!
Dear attendees, members, cooperation-partner and volunteers,
We thank you sincerely for your loyalty and engagement for our Coachingtag over the last decade! Let’s celebrate and toast this jubilee together, and then on to the next ten years!
We look forward to seeing you in Munich!
Dr. Geertje Tutschka
